According to the General Staff data, the losses of Russian troops have already reached about 267,540 people since the beginning of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
In particular, the total combat losses of the enemy from 24 February 2022 to 8 September 2023 totaled approximately:

• 8,726 (+23) armoured combat vehicles
• 5,753 (+31) artillery systems
• 754 (+1) MLRS
• 507 (+1) air defence systems
• 315 (+0) aircraft
• 316 (+0) helicopters
• 4,570 (+29) UAVs of operational-tactical level
• 1,455 (+0) cruise missiles
• 19 (+0) ships/boats
• 8,264 (+47) vehicles and fuel tanks
• 860 (+1) special equipment units
“The Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operation in Bakhmut and Melitopol directions. Ukrainian soldiers had success in the areas south of Robotyne; they gain a foothold on the reached frontiers. In Bakhmut direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations south of Bakhmut city, gaining a foothold on the achieved boundaries,” the General Staff reported.
The military added that our defenders continued to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the direction of Avdiyivka and Maryinka. Here, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Keramik, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and south of Prechystivka in the Donetsk region.
Moreover, the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the areas of Kupyansk, Lyman, and Bakhmut. Here, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Synkivka, Novoyehorivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Klishchiyivka, and Andriyivka.
