49% of adults in Ukraine rate their health as good or very good. According to the results of its opinion poll, such information was published by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS).
“As of April 2020, 49% of surveyed adults in Ukraine rated their health as good or very good, 38% – as mediocre (neither good nor bad) or could not determine, and 13% – as bad or very bad “- said in a research.
According to sociologists, 82% of people aged 18 to 29 feel healthy, 67% in the age group 30-39, 53% aged 40-49, 39% aged 50-59, 60-69 – 26%, and among people aged 70 years or older – 12%.
At the same time, KIIS stressed that “health is an important condition for feeling happy: among those who have good or very good health, 86% feel happy, and among those who have poor or very poor health, 34% are happy. “
The study also states that health can be affected not only by age, gender, level of material well-being, but also a place of residence, and other factors.
The survey was conducted from April 22 to 25, 2020 by telephone interviews based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers among the adult population in all regions except the occupied territories. 2024 interviews were conducted.
