Advocacy-SMM Volunteer Open Vacancy  

Promote Ukraine is looking for an SMM Advocacy Volunteer to join our Advocacy Team. 

Description of the main activity: 

The SMM Advocacy volunteer will be assigned a range of tasks in the field of international relations, European studies, political science and communications among which: 

Primary (more than 50%):  

• coordination of advocacy campaigns, drafting concept notes;  
• creating visuals for social media (transforming text into simple infographics); 
• drafting social media posts about the team’s activities; 
• promoting PU’s advocacy efforts; 
• contributing to building outreach campaigns and creating narratives; 
• cooperating with PU SMM team. 

Secondary:  

• monitoring of current news and policies; 
• maintaining the stakeholder database; 
• supporting preparation of meeting briefings. 

Required skills: 

• fluent English; 
• excellent writing skills; 
• experience in copyrighting would be a plus; 
• experience in graphic design/designing simple infographics would be a plus; 
• creativity; 
• understanding of current political context and advocacy vocabulary; 
• availability at least 3-4h/week; 
• proactive engagement; 
• excellent social skills (flexibility, teamwork, etc); 
• adherence to deadlines.
