In one and a half years of the Government’s activity, 137 Ukrainian companies have started operating in foreign markets with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine. In particular, markets were opened or access to markets was restored for 59 product groups in 18 countries around the world in cooperation with the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection.
Recent achievements include the opening of the honey and beekeeping products market in Qatar, the dairy market in Turkey, the poultry meat market in Liberia, and the poultry meat and eggs market in Japan.
“Business views diplomats as reliable partners. That is why the number of companies in our Exporters and Investors Council under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has almost quadrupled over a year. A year ago, there were about a hundred of them. Today, 370 companies and business associations are members of the Council,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba.
